For Minoár, clothing occupies an exceptional part which is a manifestation of one’s soul and character. Appearance through garments should be a personal expression of the state of mind and attitude to the outside world. Clothing is a manifestation of one’s approach towards the world – living and non-living. The beauty of each garment lies in its practicality and identity it creates by simply wearing them.
At Minoár, we are dedicated to creating appearance through complete silhouettes that carry precisely this value and concept to the world. For us functional fashion is a diverse art, both applied and fine art. It serves as a means of indirect communication to others, yet it has the ability to be in perfect tune with the surroundings and fields such as architecture, interior design, music, fine arts. They should all connect to each other in one personal thoughtful aesthetic.
All these creations shaping individualistic appearance come to life when their wearer breathes life into them, drawing them into one’s daily practices and thus creating history. After all they are for the one who does not belong.
CONCEPT
Minoár is the tamed chaos designed in one specific direction. Our focus is directed in the creation of a sensory vision through alternatively built perception. Through our creations we intend to originate an external shape as a reflection of the human sensorium.
Our creations themselves are not simply design with individual origin. Minoár is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions to genesis. The element which gives life to design itself is a segment of the lasting impact of occurrence the same way as the phenomena ‘The Butterfly Effect’.
Minoár reflects as an undefined outcome of events in process of creation that touches the indefinable. Our fundamental concept to behold our roots is bound with the gifts of nature – every fiber, leather fragment and precious metal. Of all that we create artefacts of illusions cultured within colorless forms where each element has a purpose.
Signature Details & Novel Techniques
Minoar was born out of the desire to create distinct and comprehensive appearance. Оver the years, several novel techniques and functional details were created and introduced. Elements such as buttons, buckles, welt pockets and fabric itself found their in-depth position in an artisan realm.
The Fiber Bond Fabric
This signature technique is neither knitted, nor woven.
Fiber Bond was unveiled for the first time in S/S18 Collection ‘Within’.
The artisan approach of intertwined natural fibers results in a strong and durable bond.
The Fiber Bond garment possesses individualistic & one of a kind appearance.
The Linear Stainless Steel Buttons & Pullers
In the first S/S & A/W 2015 collections ‘Trans Urbem’ & ‘Unsullied’ these handcrafted functional details were introduced for the first time.
Crafted from Stainless Steel, These signature details are used in a range of garments and are a constant part of Minoar’s concept.

The Diagonal Cut Welt Pocket
First introduced in S/S18 ‘Within’ these diagonal welt pockets aim to break the regularities.
Minoar’s unconventional approach is to create individualistic appearance through the smallest details.
Functional, different and yet peculiar design-wise, these diagonal welt details can
be found in a wide range of garments and accessories.
The Hexagon Stainless Steel Buckle
This Hexagon buckle is born from the graphic symbol behind Minoar’s identity logo. It is simplified to it’s absolute minimal – the hexagon shape. Used in garments and leather accessories it functions as a garment hanger and buckle. Crafted from variety of metals – Stainless Steel, Darkened Brass and 925 patinated silver.
